Freelance Artists

"A picture is worth a thousand words," and indeed, art has a great importance to us. We use it extensively to communicate ideas and concepts and to generate excitement in the fantasy worlds we create.

In order to work with DP9, artists must be able to work as part of a team. We are looking for professional illustrators, not Artistes (note capitalization). We have very specific needs in terms of style and media, and good artists should be prepared to bend their personal style a little to meet them.

Mechanical Design Artists

The Pod is currently seeking an additional artist with a good eye for mechanical design for our current and in-the-work projects. An excellent grasp of perspective, kinematics and style is required. The person should be able to flawlessly reproduce the machines and vehicles shown in our games as well as create new designs with our in-house staff. This is stricly mechanical art -- no characters or backgrounds (though if possible, that's a bonus). The job is freelance: we won't consider a full-time engagement until a working relationship has been established. See the Art Guidelines for submission details.
