Hachiman-class Destroyer

These medium-sized destroyers are the workhorses of the CEGA's Fleets. The first three Hachiman-class vessels entered service in 2194, quickly followed the year after by ten more. The Hachiman-class used to have a bad reputation among crews because of the so-called "Dark Summer" of 2197, where no less than three ships were lost due to a plasma drive malfunction. It was later revealed that the ships had been sabotaged by STRIKE agents working at the naval base of L2-4. Once these were discovered, the incidents stopped and the Hachiman rapidly regained the confidence of the Terran military.

This blister contains one (1) complete 1/5000 scale plastic resin miniature, supplied unassembled and unpainted with a plastic flight base. Clean and trim each part with a modeling knife or file before assembly. Use cyanocrylate or epoxy glue to assemble the model; undercoat before painting. Glue and paint not included. Miniature sculpted and modeled by Alain Gadbois and Marcel Bastien.
