Walter Christie's ingenious "walking suspension" allows a walker to collapse onto itself and move using a separate wheeled or treaded system. This neat piece of engineering let the otherwise slow walkers keep up with the movement of more conventional armored columns. The Valkurie Ausf A shown at right is wearing the colors and markings of a unit assigned to the Afrika Korps in the North African theater.

This high-quality 15 mm wargame scale (~1/100 scale) pewter kit includes parts for both A and B variants, along with a separate machinegun turret and optional commander figure. The kit comes in a sealed large clamshell blister and includes a sheet of full color water-slide decals.
