Cavalier
The Cavalier Armored Walker was the British version of the Americans' General Early walker combat unit. It was based on the first Early prototype and retained its riveted construction (unlike the American vehicles, which were switched to a cast armor design). The Cavalier was deployed on all fronts from North Africa to the beaches of Normandy and served in all Commonwealth armies. The Cavalier shown at right is wearing the three-tone "splinter" color scheme and markings of a vehicle belonging to the 7th Division -- the famous "Desert Rats." This high-quality 15 mm wargame scale (~1/100 scale) pewter kit includes parts for three variants, along with separate machineguns, hatch and optional commander figure.
