The Rams Mike - Pod Corp, Sacramento, The Rams

"This one is of one of my Gear Ball Duelist Teams. I'm a huge American Football Fan and when the Gearball rules came out in the Arena Champions book, I just had to make a couple of teams. I painted these up just before last year's Super Bowl. I was for sure the Rams would win... So much for being sure about things, eh? ^_^ "

Spitting Cobra Mike - Pod Corp, Sacramento, Spitting Cobra

"This one is a Southern MILICIA Spitting Cobra. This one is attached to the Azure Devils and is one of the first Heavy Gear miniatures that I've painted. I use this and other Gears painted like this as part of my demo miniatures at stores and conventions."

Sniper Jaguar Seth Senecal, Sniper Jaguar

"This was the first Gear (indeed, the first mini at all) that I did. I had no idea what I was doing, but it turned out okay. The rifle is the standard MAC, with the clip shortened and barrel extended. I used a piece of antena shroud from an RC car, ground it down, and used it to connect the cut-off barrel with a bit of paper clip. The extra sensors I created using the spare parachute from the Paracheeta's sprue. (I didn't know what it was at the time!)"

Snow Jaguar Seth Senecal, Snow Jaguar

"Gear number two. It almost ended in disaster when I unknowingly began it with a coat of Gloss White, but I was able to salvage it towards the end. NEVER use gloss paints with minis!"

ParaCheetah Seth Senecal, Para Cheetah

"This is the third (and arguably best) Gear I've done. I really liked the green used on the official model, and the orange complementeds it perfectly. I had the idea of making this part of a search-and-rescue team; note the slung rifle and smoke grenades. The vibroblade is great for clearing landing sites, freeing pilots from wreckage, and warding off unfriendlies.)"

Security Chief Seth Senecal, Security Chief

"This is my favourite Gear so far. There's nothing special about the scheme, but it's where I started getting the hang of drybrushing, washing, and all those little things that make a mini come alive. I decided to give it a few pits and dings, which show that this guy works for his living! Pity I can't get a really good pic of it; I was giggling like a mad scientist when I saw how it came out!"

Security Guard Seth Senecal, Security Guard

"Companion to the previous Gear, I experimented with the ground a little. I used a cement-like tiling compund to simulate a concrete surface, etching in some seams and sticking some weeds in it, then washing and highliting it. Doesn't look too bad..."

Barbed Fang Black Mamba Jonathan Breese, Barbed Fang Black Mamba

"Here is a collection of my miniatures. I thought you guys might find them interesting. This picture is a conversion of a Barbed Fang Black Mamba."

Para Iguana Gunner Jonathan Breese, Para Iguana Gunner

"This picture is a conversion of a Para Iguana Gunner."

Southern Infantry Jonathan Breese, Southern Infantry

"Here is one of my infantry squads."
