Mad Dog Seth Senecal, Mad Dog

"No one remembers exactly how the Badlands town of Melonweed acquired this old Gear (it was probably abandoned in the desert heat during the War of the Alliance) but it has faithfully defended them against rovers, sand raiders, and Polar skirmishes for years. As a result of its vigilance, Melonweed and the surrounding areas have become something of a small haven for caravans and travelers, doing much to bring a measure of peace and prosperity to a region where mere survival is such a struggle. The local mechanics have made several modifications, the most important being an extra cooling system to keep the Gear from overheating, as Mad Dogs are notorious for doing (see inset.) A large bludgeon its main weapon, since ammunition is expensive and hard to come by. The Gear's aging Neural Net has become very adept at conserving ammo, and has gotten so accustomed to inexperienced pilots that it is practically capable of carrying out its duties without one."

Iguana Seth Senecal, Meganator Iguana

"I made this one in honor of one of my coworkers who teases me about my hobby, but actually enjoys the results. I decided against using any pattern-breakers since I was going for aesthetics and not functionality. Since green's her favourite color, I decided on the woodland scheme and was suprised at how well the brown worked for the armor skirting. I used a small amount of Testors' High-Gloss lacquer on the sensors and engines, but it doesn't show well here. I probably should have put some on the shoulder spikes as well, now that I think about it..."

Homestead Angus Adams, Homestead Scene
