Ferret Paul Lesack, Ferret

"Your Ferret contest inspired me to start painting Heavy Gear miniatures. I wanted to give the Ferret a sense of action, hence the Dukes of Hazzard style leap. In retrospect, I should have given it an orange paint scheme..."

King Cobra Paul Lesack, King Cobra

"Naturally, I started after the contest was long completed, and I couldn't stop after painting just one miniature. While you certainly get an impression of strength from the original King Cobra pose, I thought I'd try for an ominous lumbering behemoth effect. After lots of sawing, pinning and cursing, this is what came out."

Jager Jonathan Breese, Southern Gears

"Here are some of my Southern Gears. This is a Jager."

Iguana Jonathan Breese, Southern Gears

"Here are some of my Southern Gears. This is an Iguana."

Black Mamba Jonathan Breese, Southern Gears

"Here are some of my Southern Gears. This is a Black Mamba."

Spitting Cobra Jonathan Breese, Southern Gears

"Here are some of my Southern Gears. This is a Spitting Cobra."

Duelist Hunter Christain Knoppler, Duelist Hunter Conversion

"The Hunter-conversion is an all-rounder, it can soften up an opponent with his Medium Autocannon and the VLRP and finish him off with its mace while protected by a shield in close combat. The mace is from Rank's Mad Dog, the head a Tiger's, and the shield is a small piece of plastic."

Duelist Jager Christain Knoppler, Duelist Jager Conversion

"The Jager is geared towards close combat with its mighty Vibro-Naginata. As it needs both hands for the melee weapon, its only ranged weapon is a shoulder-mounted autocannon. Imagine the Jager locking an opponent with the naginata and then firing the autocannon. The naginata came off an old mini I had, and didn''t fit very well, but it still looks impressive."

Shiki James Meldrum, Shiki Conversion

"Using a Loki and extra parts to make a Shiki."
