Two-Fisted Pulp Superscience in a World at War!

"...But should we fail, then the whole world... including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the light of perverted science..."

- Sir Winston Churchill, 1940

German combat walkers on the breached Maginot line. A broken Tesla gun stands futile sentry behind. The world would indeed have been a different place had the Roaring Twenties not delivered the wonders promised by visionaries. Instead, war walkers now stride across the battlefield of Europe, huge supertanks thunder over North Africa, rocket fighters duel high above the Pacific, adventurers and superspies battle the Nazi forces in the shadows and scientists work feveriously in their laboratories to perfect the next doomsday weapon for their masters.

Powered by advanced science, will the darkness of fascism spread across the world, or can brave men and women prevent it?

News from the Front Lines

We now produce a line of superscience aircraft miniatures for Luft Krieg, the aerial GK wargame; buy them at your local store or in the Gear Krieg Online Store. Scotia Models also now distributes the Collectair micro-armor plane miniatures, which can be used for the "regular" WWII aircraft types.

The GK miniatures are sculpted in the 15mm wargaming scale (15 mm here refers to the height of an average human figure). This equates to about 1/100th scale; though it's not entirely accurate (the true value is about 1/110 or 1/120), this is what most 15mm-scale manufacturers are using as a baseline.

Gamers everywhere have been scrambling to locate World War II miniature manufacturers. Sites like The Miniatures Page are a good place to start looking. There are few plastic vehicles or infantry in this scale but several companies make very affordable metal or resin figures in 15mm. Check out the following manufacturers:

(Note that these links are given for information purposes only and do not constitute an official endorsement of these companies.)

A small note for GK players out there who were wondering about the lack of Threat Values for the infantry units in the North Africa sourcebook. The infantry squads have so many variables that vary depending on the scenario being played (number of men per squad, skil levels, Morale, etc.) that we decided to omit the TVs. The latter can be easily calculated using the TV formula in the GK rulebook (page 64).

Thanks to the coding assistance of Alex Rhodes, we will be able to provide additional vehicles and variants for your game right here! The first vehicle is the Vickers Light Tank, a small British vehicle useful for scouting and anti-infantry work.

Gear Krieg continues to attract attention and generate excitement! We updated the FAQ recently to answer more questions, and we'd like your feedback as to what the Gear Krieg section of this Web site should hold.
