Fusion Models is a model maker that specializes in resin model kits, both historical and fictional. Our products are designed by modelers, for modelers. Our goals is to engineer resin kits that are just as easy to assemble as more conventional plastic kits, yet offer more details and features.
All parts are cast and inspected by hand to insure the highest possible quality and precision. We use a light, plastic-like gray resin that is strong but not brittle and is able to hold a maximum of details while still remaining easy to cut, sand and glue. Great pains are taken to ensure that the casting of each part is done as cleanly as possible, reducing the modeler's workload and reserving the intricate surface detail.
Assembly is extremely simple: many parts are joined by coded pins and plugs, ensuring each part fits perfectly in its intended position and nowhere else. All kits include comprehensive, well-illustrated instructions and a painting guide, leaving no frustrating guesswork to the modeler.
Our belief is that our kits will provide great satisfaction to the model builder, whether experienced or not. Already released are the 1/35 scale Kodiak(tm) Gear and its cockpit detail set, from Heavy Gear®, and the insect-like 1/200 scale Syreen(tm) exo-armor, from the Jovian Chronicles(tm). Both of these science fiction universes are highly successful roleplaying lines created by Dream Pod 9. Heavy Gear®, best known of the two, is also featured in best-selling computer games by Activision® and will soon have its own television series. Future releases will include more detail sets for the Kodiak and a complete line of exo-armor and spacecraft models from Jovian Chronicles(tm). Historical and figure kits are also in the work.

May 25th, 2001 -- The DB605 conversion kit for the 1/48 scale Spitfire is now available. A series of accurizing kits is also now on sale: check out the Historical Models page for a complete listing. Feel free to send us your questions and suggestions.
We are currently working on a TA-152C conversion kit for the 1/48 Dragon/Italeri TA-152H plastic model kit. This conversion set will include a complete nose and upper wing panels that allow you to easily build the 'C' variant of this sleek German fighter. There is no planned release date yet, but keep checking this page for more information.
