Heavy Gear Blitz 3rd Edition Rules Approved for Printing!
We finally received our proof copy of the HGB 3rd Edition Rules from the printer yesterday afternoon. It looks good and we have approved it for printing. I took some photos of the book to share with you all, they are attached with this post.
Dream Pod 9 will be placing an order for our copies of the book later today and should receive them in early June, in time for our planned June 18th shipping. Then we’ll start on the Kickstarter Backer copies, placing an order for each Backer that still needs a copy of the rulebook as part of their previously shipped reward package. Canadian Backers will have their book printed and shipped from the Lightning Source plant in Canada, American Backers from their plant in the USA, and UK/EU Backers from their plant in the UK. International Backers have their books printed at Lightning Source plant closest (in most cases Canada or USA) and shipped to their country.
Also this week we finished up the small format (5.5″x8.5″) HGB 3rd Edition Rules layout and uploaded it to DriveThruRPG along with the POD version. The small format version is the same as the full size, just shrunk down. We added 2 pages at the end to allow for the token sheet to be over 2 pages and not shrunk, keeping the tokens full size. The ebook version is available now for download at the link below. Once the printer checks the files we’ll be able to order a printed proof copy for our approval. We’ll be using the small format rulebook in our new HGB Two Player Starter Boxes to be available in July.
