Heavy Gear Blitz 3rd Edition League Rules and League Patch Design Contest!
We’ve prepared some quick Heavy Gear Blitz 3rd Edition League Rules for players, pod squad, and retailers to use in running league play. The short 8 page pdf can be used as guidelines to run a small league between 2 or more players over 6 weeks or more, with suggested force TV, new unique upgrades gained thru each weeks play, and new objectives. As part of the HGB League Play Dream Pod 9 is planning to make a series of League Patches based around the War for Terra Nova. With new league play starting each 3 months and a new league patch to be released at its start and made available for purchase by league organizers (pod squad, retailer, and player groups). We want your help to design the league patches that we get made.
Our first ever League Patch Design Contest is launching today (August 27th, 2021) and runs 3 weeks to Midnight EST Friday, September 17th, 2021. When we’ll select 1 or more winners, to make the first 1 to 5 league patches. Each winning patch design will receive 50 reward points ($50 USD value) added to their DP9 Online Store account and a free copy of the patch mailed to them once its made. Winning patch designs will become the property of Dream Pod 9. We plan to get the first patch sent off to the manufacturer in late September and have them available sometime in late October. The patch designs must have a max size of 3″ x 3″, with 1 color twill backing and up to 9 thread colors and less than 99% embroidery (some of the twill backing must show). Plus it will have a 1/8″ merrowed edging inside of the max patch size.
