Dream Pod 9 Convention and Price Increase News!

DP9 will be attending Adepticon 2022, one of the world premiere wargaming conventions, located at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in Schaumburg, IL, USA (a northwestern suburb of Chicago). The convention takes place from Wednesday March 23rd thru Sunday March 27th 2022. With Exhibitor Hall hours from 10 am – 6 pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and 10 am – 3 pm on Sunday. We managed to get secure a single booth in the exhibitor hall, after being on the waiting list for several months.

Attending Adepticon for DP9 will be Nick Huisman and his team from the central USA. They will have a small area at the booth to run Heavy Gear Blitz demo games and have the core HGB books, 2 player starter and army boxes, plus a small selection of other HGB products for sale. Robert may also try and attend, but it will depend on Canadian travel restrictions due to Covid at the time of the convention.

Dream Pod 9 Product Prices and Shipping Cost Increases:

DP9 will be increasing its prices in February, our supplier costs kept on increasing over the last year for books, pewter, resin, acrylic, packaging materials, and even plastic sprues. Inflation is here to stay and we’ll need to increase our prices between 5% for books to 10% for pewter miniatures.

Also, US Post shipping costs are increasing so we’ll be making the following changes next month. Our order sub-total needed for Free shipping to the US or Canada will increase from $110 to $120 USD and the basic shipping cost for US or Canada order sub-totals under $120 USD with increase from $15.50 to $16.10 USD. Our the International fixed shipping cost for orders will increase from $40.85 to $42.70 USD.
