New Naga and Dark Naga Striders 3D Model Previews and DP9 News!
Today we have a surprise for our Southern and Black Talon faction players of Heavy Gear Blitz. We have new Naga and Dark Naga Strider 3D Models by Duymon who previously did the Mammoth Strider. Duymon also did amazing cockpit details for the new Striders with the pilot and gunner and closed or open hatch parts. Plus he made all the variant weapons and included 2mm diameter by 1mm holes for magnets in the shoulders and under the weapon bases for easy weapon swapping. He also made some extra optional parts that will be available on the DP9 Online Store which include Alternate Walking Pose and Roller Mode legs for the Naga and Dark Naga. Plus a new Hydro Pack Parts set for the Naga and a JetPack Parts set for the Dark Naga. Alain over at Fusion Models did 3D tests prints last week and is currently busy assembling and painting them. Once that’s done we’ll get photos taken and make the black box cover sheets. Our goal is to have them up for sale this Friday.
Plus some DP9 News: We made a small price increase to the shipping cost of US and Canadian orders, now $25 (up from $22). Also all US orders will now be shipped directly from Canada, as US Customs now requiring DP9 to make formal entries using a Customs Broker. We’ll have more news on this once we see how it effects shipping costs. Plus a heads-up the Dream Pod 9 office will be closed for 2 weeks from Tuesday August 11 thru Tuesday August 25th for DP9 Staff summer vacation. We’ll be back in the office on Wednesday August 26, 2026.
